At Aesthetically Yours, we believe that when women look good and feel better, their entire well-being improves. We can help focus on and treat several areas of your body, including one of the most highly sensitive areas for women – the breasts.
Factors like aging, pregnancy and weight gain can have adverse effects on the size, shape and appearance of the breasts, and at Aesthetically Yours, Dr. Anne Nickodem and her caring medical staff provide a safe, comfortable environment for you to talk about what you want to focus on in regards to your breasts or body.
Contact us today at one of our three locations in Annandale and Reston, Virginia, and in Chevy Chase, Maryland, to set up a consultation for breast revision. Doctor Nickodem and her staff will develop an individualized care plan that not only targets your biggest concerns but also emphasizes your entire well-being. Keep in mind, however, that multiple body concerns may require multiple consultations.
Our breast procedures are among the most highly-requested at our offices, and we offer a wide range of options for breast revision:
This procedure is a breast enlargement for either reconstructive or cosmetic reasons. The implants used in our offices are either saline or silicone-based, both of which are approved by the FDA. Factors such as skin type, volume of breast gland tissue, desired size and nipple placement all determine which type of implant is right for you.
Breast Implant Removal
If existing breast implants are leaking, causing scar tissue, prove to be too uncomfortable or causing other difficulties, we also perform implant removal surgery.
Women are not the only ones who suffer from breast issues. Excess breast fat, glandular tissue and skin are also experienced by males and can be caused by several factors including heredity, weight, disease and use of certain drugs. At Aesthetically Yours, male patients receive just as focused, well-rounded care as their female counterparts.
Used in the treatment of sagging breasts or breasts that have lost their natural shape, a mastopexy lifts the breasts to reshape and raise them back to a perky state, although permanent scarring is noticeable after the procedure. Often, overall breast size will also be smaller after a mastopexy.
Open Capsulectomy and Breast Implant Exchange
For women experiencing painful scar tissue as a result of implants or if it is determined by Dr. Nickodem that your implants should be replaced, this surgical procedure can be used to remove scar tissue surrounding breast implants or revise the shape of the pocket that the implant rests in.
All procedures carry their own risks and side effects, and Dr. Nickodem and her medical staff will help you determine which breast procedure is the right one for you and your body. Contact us at Aesthetically Yours today at any of our three locations to get the process started. If you have macromastia we may also evaluate you to seek a proper treatment plan.
